Who said, "Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." That's right! Van Gogh. I have a one million-ish page coffee table book on Van Gogh and I LOVE reading about this guy. He fascinates me, and concerns me all at once. S
ometimes he writes things in his letters to his brother, and I'm like: uh oh. His interesting mix of self-loathing and pride is familiar to me. I think it's familiar to us all, and that's why we're so drawn to his paintings.
I think this one is 24x36. I did it with a brush and palette knife. Lots of turquoise in it, so it really appeals to me. It hangs in our dining room creeping out my husband.
