Painted as a hope for the future during quarantine of Corona pandemic. From Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe I remember Aslan as "not safe, but good" and re-imagined the city of Lexington imposed on a painting I did of my husband's dream of a lion leading a pack of others in a V and leaving a wake of light. I put the center of Lexington in the heart of the lion representing the goodness that will ultimately prevail from this dark time.
